About This Role
- Design and develop new software features for SonicWall firewall product-line with timely and high-quality delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported issues promptly, maintaining and enhancing existing software features.
- Write functional and design specifications, collaborate on documentation, and participate in code and test case reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C programming with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS, multi-threading, TCP/IP stack, and networking protocols; experience with firewalls, SD-WAN, routing, VPNs, or embedded systems is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing and maintaining network security products, particularly firewalls and related technologies.
- Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments and collaborating with globally distributed teams.
- Skilled in debugging tools (e.g., GDB) and resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
