About This Role
- Support day-to-day general ledger processes and client inquiries related to these processes.
- Perform accounting functions including account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate and implement accounting projects, SOP audits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and financial policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field with no work experience required OR 2-year degree with 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting processes such as ledger balancing, audits, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with applicable Federal and State laws related to fraud and collection procedures.
- Work Experience Required: Either none (with bachelor's degree) or minimum 2 years (with 2-year degree).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in coordinating accounting work and implementing SOP audits in hospitality or similar environments.
- Ability to lead and mentor finance/accounting teams, providing coaching and training in accounting practices.
- Skilled in managing compliance, preparing timely financial reports, and supporting financial controls to safeguard assets.
