Lead BI solution development lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, report/dashboard building, testing, and production support.
Drive SAP BusinessObjects exit by migrating reports to IBM Cognos, including rebuilds, validation, scheduling, and cutover.
Design performant datasets and reporting layers on Snowflake/Databricks; establish reusable metrics and migration playbooks for BI consolidation and self-service analytics.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training/certification.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects and IBM Cognos (reporting, packages/models, scheduling, performance troubleshooting).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks including SQL, data modeling, and large dataset handling.
Strong SQL skills including joins, window functions, aggregations, and query tuning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end BI migration projects involving large report inventories and complex platform transitions.
Skilled in leading AI-assisted software development practices with knowledge of responsible AI use, secure handling, and validation in engineering workflows.
Familiar with data warehousing concepts, multiple BI tools (QlikSense, Tableau, Sigma), and cloud data platforms; preferably with financial services or capital markets domain exposure.
