About This Role
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and models on Azure (using ADF, HDI, Databricks, Fabric/Synapse) focusing on data quality, security, and compliance.
- Develop and integrate datasets to support AI/ML and Co-Pilot applications alongside data scientists and analysts.
- Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor systems, handle incidents, implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and govern data accessibility within pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala programming and solid experience with SQL and database technologies.
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with building and scaling data platforms in a complex, data-driven supply chain/manufacturing context preferred (Microsoft Devices Operations).
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure data services and data governance/compliance.
- Able to manage design, build, and operational ownership of data pipelines, including incident monitoring and resolution (DRI role).
