About This Role
- Lead the product security strategy by designing, building, and operating security automation in the SDLC including code scanning, dependency risk management, secrets detection, and policy-as-code integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform manual security design and implementation reviews, conduct threat modeling especially for AI/LLM ecosystems, and lead penetration testing and incident response.
- Partner cross-functionally to embed security best practices, prioritize vulnerability remediation, maintain software supply chain protections, and use telemetry to measure and improve security controls.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in security vulnerability detection, security code reviews, and secure code development relevant to Greenlight's technology stack.
- 2-4 years experience with threat modeling processes and identifying design issues from architecture and data flow diagrams.
- Experience with security tools including SAST, DAST, IAST, penetration testing, and CI/CD security automation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles in AWS environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage AI-powered security automation tools integrated into SDLC and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with product security in web/mobile applications including API security and secure architecture patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
