About This Role
- Support, enhance, and maintain critical legacy .NET Framework and WCF applications ensuring system stability and performance.
- Lead modernization initiatives by migrating legacy WCF services to ASP.NET Core Web APIs and modern architectures while improving maintainability and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership including troubleshooting production issues, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on design and deployment.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies including strong skills in C#, .NET Framework, and WCF services.
- Experience supporting large-scale legacy enterprise applications with expertise in SOAP, XML, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning, and database design.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years; Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and executing legacy system modernization from WCF/.NET Framework to ASP.NET Core and modern .NET versions (preferably .NET 8+).
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with strong capabilities in production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical leader who mentors others and aligns modernization efforts with long-term platform strategies while collaborating effectively across Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
