About This Role
- Lead quality review of applications including creating and maintaining test strategies, test plans, and test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Own test automation and manual testing including test environment setup, execution of various test types (functional, regression, performance, security), and defect lifecycle management.
- As Senior Engineer, mentor junior QA staff, recommend and implement testing tools and techniques, and align QA function with organizational quality goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in QA automation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium IDE, Katalon, Cypress), web service testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter, Soap UI), and executing SQL queries for backend testing.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development concepts.
- Preferred background in Computer Science, IT or related scientific discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance testing in agile and waterfall environments.
- Capable of working closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve software issues proactively.
- Skilled at mentoring junior QA staff and driving improvements in testing efficiency and quality assurance standards.
