About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and ship new features across the Champion platform repositories using trunk-based development with PR-gated merges.
- Support Applied AI business unit teams by building, deploying, operating, and reviewing Champion agents including prompt engineering and deployment configuration.
- Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, onboarding support, and infrastructure evolution for the multi-agent platform environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience specializing in Python, Golang, and AI-driven systems.
- Proficiency in Python async programming, FastAPI, Pydantic, pytest (including pytest-asyncio), Docker, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Good understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol, multi-agent architectures, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and evaluation design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software development within AI-driven systems and multi-agent platforms, able to contribute to core platform capabilities and agent design.
- Proficient in developing asynchronous Python services and Golang backend along with experience in prompt engineering and AI-native dev tools.
- Capable of collaborating with business unit Applied AI engineers on Kubernetes manifest creation, deployment, and agent operation in complex manufacturing software environments.
