About This Role
- Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers to execute reliability initiatives and build SRE culture.
- Design, implement, and improve infrastructure on GCP focusing on reliability, scalability, resilience, security, and performance.
- Manage live production incidents, monitor application performance, develop and maintain automation, observability, and run books to prevent recurring issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 11-13 years of total work experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related domain.
- Proven hands-on experience with Containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of large-scale databases and distributed technologies like Kafka, and solid understanding of at least two observability tools.
- Preferred educational qualification: B.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading SRE teams within large-scale cloud environments, preferably with GCP expertise.
- Demonstrated capability to define and track KPIs such as RPO, RTO, SLI, SLO, and Error Budgets.
- Strong operational focus on automation, incident management, system performance analytics, and cross-platform troubleshooting (OS, Networking, Database).
