About This Role
- Design, develop, maintain, and modernize mission-critical Windows Services and backend processing applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET 6+, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Lead technical architecture decisions, code reviews, and modernization initiatives to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational support across enterprise applications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance integration and automation solutions, including database development and production support.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in C#, .NET Framework, and/or .NET 6+ application development.
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and supporting Windows Services, background processing applications, and scheduled jobs.
- Proficiency with SQL Server including stored procedures, performance tuning, and database design.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in modernizing legacy VB.NET and .NET Framework Windows Services to modern .NET platforms with strong adherence to engineering best practices like SOLID and asynchronous programming.
- Comfortable providing technical leadership and mentoring in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing complex integration and automation workflows.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing production systems with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as QA, Infrastructure, and DevOps.
