About This Role
- Own end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Valor Gateway and Portal, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, release coordination, and go-live sign-off.
- Translate complex business and compliance needs into detailed, unambiguous technical specifications and manage pre-commitment reviews with engineering and QA to ensure completeness and quality.
- Act as the operational and technical backbone of the platform roadmap, responsible for thorough impact analysis of all changes before engineering commits.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years experience in technical product management or product ownership, ideally in fintech, payments, banking, or merchant services.
- Proven experience managing SDLC including requirements writing, backlog grooming, agile ceremonies, and release coordination with engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to systematically analyze full impact of changes across complex payment platform.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with US-based teams for requirement translation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically fluent with understanding of payment platforms, transaction flows, data models, API/data literacy; able to engage credibly with engineering teams without needing to code.
- Highly rigorous and process-oriented, focused on completeness of analysis and anticipating edge cases before development.
- Experienced managing complex software products in structured Agile environments, comfortable working closely with senior product management and cross-functional teams on hybrid schedules.
