- Develop evaluation frameworks for clinical safety, interpretability, and trustworthiness, integrating agents with multimodal foundational models for adaptive reasoning across medical data modalities.
- Collaborate with clinicians, scientists, and regulatory teams to co-design datasets, validation protocols, and translate research innovations into medically viable systems with clinical impact.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience developing LLM-based agents, tool-using models, chain-of-thought systems, or orchestrated pipelines.
- Strong background in multimodal learning, vision-language transformers, contrastive models, or clinical NLP.
- Familiarity with medical imaging, radiology workflows, DICOM pipelines, or 3D data representations.
- Expertise in PyTorch or JAX and large-scale model training and inference.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced researcher familiar with multimodal/vision-language model ecosystems and pushing towards autonomous medical reasoning and clinical AI impact.
- Strong publication record in multimodal AI, medical AI, agentic systems, or large language models, with comfort working alongside clinicians and biomedical researchers.
- Practitioner capable of designing safe, interpretable, auditable AI systems, able to innovate in medical agent design and integrate multimodal data effectively.
