About This Role
- Own the development and integration of a unified operational dashboard consolidating multiple monitoring tools and alert systems for Vultr’s Global Integrated Operations Command Center (GIOC).
- Drive automation of alert routing, ticketing, paging, escalation, and SLA tracking to enable reliable 24×7 global infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate across Systems, Network, Security, and GIOC teams to improve observability, reduce manual intervention, and maintain continuous infrastructure visibility during tool transitions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Platform Engineering or similar, with expertise in NMS platforms, Grafana, and SIEM environments.
- Proven skills in Python and RESTful API integrations for complex system interconnections over the last 3 years.
- Experience with building/customizing dashboards using Kibana, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
- Work Experience Required: 5–8 years in relevant domains; Location Requirement: Chennai, India (implied by role location).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep knowledge of Vultr’s monitoring ecosystem, infrastructure stack, and operational workflows across Systems, Network, and Security.
- Experience working in 24x7 global NOC/SOC environments and with multi-provider datacenter operations.
- Strong expertise in ITSM workflows (e.g., Jira, Mattermost) and linking event severity to incident management processes.
