About This Role
- Design and develop automation software and solutions for private and hybrid cloud environments, collaborating closely with solutions architects and program management.
- Develop, test, and automate high-quality, scalable, performant, and resilient distributed cloud system features and solutions.
- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, file defects, and engage with customers to resolve production issues when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in software development or test automation using Python, Golang, or Java (Python preferred).
- Experience testing systems products such as file systems, storage, operating systems, hypervisors, or networking.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V, Xen).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, algorithms, data structures, and problem solving focused on systems software.
- Experience working in agile development environments collaborating with architects and program management on cloud platform automation.
- Skills in debugging complex distributed applications and familiarity with container systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
