About This Role
- Validate multi-layer software including web apps, REST APIs, and embedded communication protocols (WiFi, Ethernet, RS-232, CAN).
- Design, develop, and scale automated test frameworks primarily using Python and Pytest, integrating them into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage V&V environments and ensure traceability from requirements to tests using Jira and Jama Connect while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computers, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent).
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in testing web applications, APIs, and embedded software systems.
- Proven experience building automated test frameworks using Python (Pytest) or Java (Selenium/TestComplete).
- Proficient with Jira, Jama Connect, GitLab CI/CD, SQL commands, debugging tools; practical knowledge of communication protocols; Hybrid work setup with 20% travel.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in setting up and maintaining V&V testing environments compliant with regulatory standards like FDA and W3C.
- Strong technical expertise in both automation framework development and embedded system protocol validation.
