About This Role
- Own full stack functional testing for a client component including test plan design, execution, and result analysis.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using existing automation frameworks to validate component functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams for issue analysis, root cause identification, and improvement of testing workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-6 years of work experience in software testing or related roles.
- Experience testing desktop applications, preferably in the financial domain.
- Proficiency in automation scripting languages such as Python or Java with good programming skills.
- Understanding of OS fundamentals, system architecture, and cross-OS platform application testing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end software testing life cycle (STLC) with focus on functional and automation testing.
- Able to design and execute comprehensive test plans independently for client-side software components.
- Strong debugging skills and collaborative work style to coordinate with developers for root cause analysis and problem diagnosis.
