About This Role
- Build and ship key frontend commerce surfaces like storefronts, checkout, catalogs, subscriptions, invoices, and documents that support global transactions.
- Own end-to-end frontend performance budgets focusing on Core Web Vitals, bundle size, hydration costs, and main-thread work, including implementing real-user monitoring and regression tracking.
- Develop installable, offline-tolerant PWAs with advanced caching strategies, ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, full localization, and embed experiences inside other apps via module federation and iframes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience building and operating production frontend applications.
- Deep expertise in Vue.js internals including reactivity model and rendering behavior.
- Proven performance optimization skills including Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools proficiency and debugging regressions.
- Experience with service workers, caching strategies, client state management (e.g. TanStack Query), accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), and internationalization/localization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong frontend craftsman with deep understanding of performance trade-offs and user experience nuances on slow networks and diverse devices.
- Experienced in building scalable, modular frontend systems embedded across contexts via module federation or iframes.
- Comfortable working with typed backend API contracts (ConnectRPC/protobuf) and collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality commerce platform features.
