About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and SDKs for a continuous glucose monitoring device.
- Implement app requirements, write/update design documents, and propose enhancements for sustainability and quality.
- Lead technical aspects including code reviews, testing (unit and integration), and adoption of new technologies to improve development efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of native Android app development experience using Kotlin; total 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions, SonarQube) and version control systems (Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket) including GitFlow.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing multi-threaded Android applications and developing SDK layers.
- Skilled in automated testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
- Familiar with design patterns like MVC, MVVM, MVP and comfortable working within Agile teams with strong documentation and testing discipline.
