About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable security engineering initiatives and distributed systems to strengthen company security posture.
- Collaborate across Security, Engineering, Infrastructure, and GRC teams to translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready security solutions.
- Drive architecture, technical design reviews, and mentor engineers while evaluating emerging technologies and AI capabilities to improve security platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Go, Python, or C++.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including IAM, security controls, logging, and access management.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technical leader experienced in complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives within security domains such as vulnerability management, GRC, application/data security, IAM, detection and response, or security automation.
- Operator familiar with scalable, reliable distributed system design and production environment challenges in availability, scalability, and performance.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance security capabilities or engineering productivity, and driving architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams.
