About This Role
- Drive business implementation and cloud-ready architecture as a technical architect for Exposure & Collateral Management Technology within Institutional Securities Technology.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant software systems with an emphasis on observability, availability, and testability.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, collaborate with senior technologists and external teams to deliver new features and support platform renovation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant software engineering experience; 9+ years preferred with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science from a top-tier university.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java 8+ and knowledge of associated frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, REST, Kafka).
- Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, CI/CD pipelines (including blue/green and canary deployments), and relational/NoSQL databases with SQL skills.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS and shell/bash scripting; working knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).

- Senior technologist comfortable with hands-on development and architectural ownership in complex financial data domains.
- Experience leading or mentoring small to sizable developer teams and able to create high-quality software design artifacts communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Adaptable to dynamic business environments and skilled across multiple technologies, including cloud-native systems, messaging (Kafka), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability tools.
