- Lead research, design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models for public safety and security applications.
- Optimize and fine-tune models focusing on real-time performance, scalability, and edge/cloud deployment in foundational AI areas like Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for integration and establish rigorous evaluation frameworks to continuously improve model effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in a technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in applied AI research.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures and Vision-Language Models.
- Proficient in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

- Experienced in developing scalable AI models for mission-critical security/public safety environments.
- Skilled in optimizing models for edge and cloud deployment, balancing latency and computational constraints.
- Capable of producing research outputs including patents and collaborating closely with software engineering teams for production-level deployment.
