3+ years of experience in design and/or implementation of vehicle ECUs, especially in controls, diagnostics, and communication.
Experience with communication networks such as CAN, UDS, and J1939 required.
Experience with software/hardware validation & verification (MIL/SIL/HIL, unit testing) and requirement writing for vehicle ECU functions required.
Experienced in working with vehicle electrical systems across various subsystems and strong familiarity with diagnostic communication protocols like CAN/UDS/J1939.
Comfortable managing ECU development projects including documentation, vendor interfacing, and multidisciplinary collaboration (systems, cybersecurity, validation teams).
Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting in fast-paced development environments focusing on platform reuse and design optimization.
