About This Role
- Lead the strategy, architecture, and evolution of a cloud-native platform focusing on scalability, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define platform engineering standards, mentor teams, drive automation, and lead cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Kubernetes platform operations across the organization.
- Improve developer productivity by establishing self-service infrastructure, reusable templates, and standardized CI/CD/GitOps practices while managing observability, security, and reliability frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related fields.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Java development including enterprise applications and microservices.
- 5+ years experience designing and operating AWS environments and Kubernetes at scale.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical leadership with the ability to influence cross-team engineering standards and technology roadmaps.
- Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (including multi-cluster), Terraform/IaC, DevSecOps, and modern DevOps/GitOps practices.
- Strong Java background enabling architectural decisions and platform designs optimized for Java-based workloads, with demonstrated mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
