About This Role
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, backend, and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability of enterprise banking applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing including API, database, backend, and event-driven system validations.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and improve test coverage.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of software testing experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or fintech domains.
- Strong expertise in automation framework design, development, and maintenance (beyond test execution).
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), API testing tools (e.g., Rest Assured, Postman), and database testing with SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), event-driven systems (Kafka or similar), and cloud-native applications (preferably Azure and Kubernetes).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing automation frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines within regulated financial environments.
- Comfortable validating complex backend processes, APIs, and event-driven systems within enterprise banking solutions.
- Able to contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing while adopting modern automation and AI-assisted testing tools.
