About This Role
- Lead design, development, and support of scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert driving solution design, code quality, automation, and AI-assisted development practices across the SDLC.
- Mentor junior developers, drive technical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- Strong hands-on skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs/Microservices, multithreading, concurrency, collections, transaction management, SQL/RDBMS, and cloud fundamentals.
- Experience with solution design, code reviews, performance tuning, production support, Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and Agile practices.
- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives and mentor developers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and delivering medium to large-sized backend features with an emphasis on distributed system design and transaction management.
- Familiar with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Lightspeed) and modern engineering best practices including CI/CD and cloud-native technologies.
- Comfortable driving engineering productivity improvements, mentoring teams, and handling complex troubleshooting and production issues.
