About This Role
- Lead Storage infrastructure operations including SDS and object storage with accountability for availability, performance, capacity, risk, compliance, and incident resolution.
- Plan and execute complex projects including version upgrades, service improvements, and high impact problem resolution with follow-the-sun operational support.
- Provide technical and strategic leadership including automation development, root cause analyses, and acting as SME for senior stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in Storage Operations/Engineering roles with expertise in SDS, object storage, and storage hardware platforms (e.g., Dell EMC PowerFlex, IBM Cloud Object Storage, Hitachi SAN).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools including ansible (certification mandatory), shell, Perl, Python, and others as listed (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience in Financial Services or large complex/global environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing end-to-end storage infrastructure operations and engineering in complex, global financial services environments.
- Capabilities in technical leadership, project planning, and strategic problem resolution with limited supervision, including driving root cause analyses and cross-team collaboration.
- Proven expertise in automation, scripting, and modernization of storage environments including AI enablement tools development.
