About This Role
- Build and lead the finance function across three global entities, managing accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax compliance, and investor reporting as the company scales hardware production and commercial deployment.
- Own end-to-end finance operations including monthly close, ERP rollout, cash flow and treasury, import/export documentation, regulatory compliance, and government incentive maximization.
- Establish internal controls, lead audits, support fundraising activities, and develop finance SOPs and team capabilities for scale.
Minimum Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification with 3–8 years of finance experience.
- Must have experience owning the full monthly-close cycle and working in cross-border commerce/import/export with hands-on trade documentation.
- Deep knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP, statutory compliance, direct & indirect taxation, Letters of Credit, FX, transfer pricing, FEMA/RBI regulations.
- Experience managing payroll across multiple entities including US payroll and compliance with US labour laws.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-entity, cross-border finance within manufacturing, hardware, EV, or cross-border commerce sectors with EXIM operations.
- Proven leadership in building and scaling finance teams in startups or fast-moving environments handling strategic and tactical finance functions.
- Hands-on with ERP/accounting system implementations and familiar with government incentive frameworks and investor relations.
