About This Role
- Manage lease accounting processes and financial functions including book closures, flash reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple global entities.
- Own SOX controls compliance, audit mitigation plans, and support timely controls testing with internal controls and audit teams.
- Drive KPIs related to balance sheet transparency, process improvements, automation initiatives, and oversee team performance, coaching, and hiring.
Minimum Requirements
- CA with 5 to 7 years OR B.Com/M.Com/ICWA with 11+ years in GL Accounting within Controllership or Shared Services in Service or Manufacturing industry.
- 3+ years of people management experience in finance overseeing Financial Analysts.
- Preferred background in IT/Telecom industry and experience with offshore business finance support models is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong accounting principles knowledge and expertise in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of SAP FICO module preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing financial accounting functions with ownership of compliance and audit deliverables in a global or multi-entity environment.
- Comfortable leading process improvements and automation, working cross-functionally with finance, controls, and RPA teams.
- Has leadership experience managing and developing finance teams within IT services or related industries, preferably in a shared services or controllership setup.
