About This Role
- Lead and strengthen First Line risk and control environment within GSM Payment Operations, including governance, testing, issue management, and audits.
- Manage a team to proactively drive risk management, remediate complex risk and control issues, and ensure control effectiveness.
- Engage extensively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, providing clear communication and constructive challenge on complex risk matters.
Minimum Requirements
- Significant experience in First Line Risk Management, Operational Risk, Controls, Governance, Audit, or Compliance.
- Proven people management and leadership experience, including team coaching and development.
- Strong knowledge and experience in risk assessment, control design and testing, issue management, audit engagements, and remediation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in First Line operational risk and control management within large, complex, or highly regulated organizations.
- Skilled in managing high-profile audit and external stakeholder engagements and driving enterprise-wide risk and control improvements.
- Strong ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders with executive presence, sound judgment, and clear communication of complex risk issues.
