About This Role
- Develop, execute, and automate end-to-end test suites for cloud-based networking applications focusing on functional, integration, performance, scale, and load validations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Development, CloudOps, and other teams to enhance test coverage, review customer deployment issues, and automate API and GUI features.
- Lead test strategy and planning while providing code reviews on automation scripts and working on performance testing and monitoring using tools like JMeter and Locust.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in software QA, preferably in network management or orchestration domain.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Robot Framework, or similar; experience in API testing (REST preferred) and UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing enterprise wired and wireless networking protocols and security concepts including VLAN, TCP/IP, VPN, AAA, and firewalls.
- Familiar with microservices architectures, network testing tools (Wireshark, Ethereal), and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Comfortable using version control (Git/Github) and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus, with hands-on debugging in cloud-native, containerized applications.
