About This Role
- Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable platform services on GCP and Kubernetes/GKE to enable engineering teams.
- Define and implement observability standards including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, SLIs, and SLOs across applications and platform services.
- Develop automation and self-service solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Python/Shell scripting, ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD to improve developer experience and reduce operational toil.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Observability Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP cloud architecture, Kubernetes/GKE, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana, or similar) and modern observability concepts including metrics, logs, distributed tracing, SLIs, SLOs.
- Experience implementing or operating CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, automation scripting (Python or Shell), and production troubleshooting with incident management.

- Experienced platform engineer with a strong focus on cloud platform ownership, reliability, and operational excellence using GCP and Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern observability solutions and a proactive approach to improve reliability and developer experience using automation and standardization.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with SRE, Security, Software Engineering, and Architecture teams in fast-paced, regulated environments such as financial services.
