About This Role
- Own system-level quality for Portworx Enterprise across Kubernetes, storage, and virtualization environments including development of test plans and automation.
- Drive validation and testing of high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, scalability, and failure scenarios in large-scale Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot complex system-level issues and ensure delivery of multiple concurrent product and feature releases.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience focused on quality and testing of distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Golang (preferred) and/or Python with automation expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, storage (file/block/object), and virtualization technologies such as KubeVirt or OpenShift Virtualization.
- Experience developing automation test suites and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; strong debugging skills across relevant infrastructure components.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in system-level testing of distributed cloud-native storage and virtualization products running on Kubernetes environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent releases with end-to-end ownership of product quality and automation.
- Strong collaborator able to work across geographically distributed development and QE teams with leadership in mentoring and code reviews.
