About This Role
- Own system-level quality for Portworx Enterprise spanning Kubernetes, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation test suites primarily using Golang to validate HA, resiliency, disaster recovery, and failure scenarios in large-scale Kubernetes setups.
- Collaborate across development, QE, and architecture teams globally to troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure timely releases with effective CI/CD pipeline integration.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an SDET engineering quality for distributed systems or infrastructure products.
- Strong programming and automation skills in Golang (preferred) and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes application lifecycle management.
- Experience or strong knowledge of enterprise storage (file/block/object) and Kubernetes persistent storage/CSI.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing complex distributed systems and infrastructure, especially Kubernetes-based environments including virtualization layers like KubeVirt or OpenShift Virtualization.
- Demonstrated capability to design and automate comprehensive test plans covering HA, scalability, disaster recovery, and failure scenarios at system level.
- Comfortable working in geographically distributed teams with multiple concurrent product releases and can lead quality ownership end-to-end.
