About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks from scratch, including web app automation using Playwright.
- Develop and maintain automated tests covering UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, improve framework reliability, and provide technical guidance to other automation engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 5–12 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or related software development roles.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Python and with Playwright automation using Python or similar browser automation frameworks.
- Experience designing or enhancing test automation frameworks and integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building Playwright with Python automation frameworks from the ground up and designing reusable libraries for multiple teams or products.
- Proficient in API automation for REST services, automation architecture design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model), and modern quality engineering practices.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development and agentic AI approaches applied to test automation and engineering productivity, with experience mentoring or leading technical reviews.
