About This Role
- Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of automated release/deployment pipelines using tools like Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Octopus Deploy.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for containerized applications.
- Drive DevOps best practice adoption, oversee cloud service integration, system architecture optimizations, and mentor junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Total work experience of 12+ years in IT with at least 5+ years focusing on Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Terraform, and Octopus Deploy in a DevOps context.
- Strong expertise in Python scripting, CI/CD pipeline design and automation, and container orchestration including Helm charts.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure as code principles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level practitioner comfortable leading and architecting complex DevOps solutions and teams in large-scale environments.
- Strong background in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with deep knowledge of container orchestration and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience driving adoption of DevOps best practices across diverse development teams and mentoring junior engineers.
