About This Role
- Own large backend systems critical to Fortune 1000 network operations, including design, operation, and cross-team coordination.
- Develop and maintain services and data pipelines primarily using Go and Python, focusing on high availability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead incident response and post-mortems, mentor engineers, and drive technical design and team productivity improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong professional experience building and operating production backend systems with deep expertise in Go and Python.
- Proven ownership of systems at scale, including on-call and incident management experience.
- Experience designing distributed systems and APIs with thoughtful data modeling and performance considerations.
- Work Experience Required: Significant professional experience building and operating production backend systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with demonstrated system ownership and operational responsibility in large-scale backend environments.
- Experienced mentor and technical leader comfortable driving design discussions and cross-team collaboration.
- Preferably has some exposure or interest in telecom, networking, or connectivity domains, but this is not mandatory.
