About This Role
- Own design decisions (high and low level) and end-to-end delivery for specific financial accounting features managing ~$100B annual spend.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Scala or Java and AWS services within transportation finance systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to improve accuracy, expand solutions geographically, and define technical roadmap.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has strong technical acumen in scalable distributed systems and deep understanding of business/financial domain.
- Experienced with AWS services and working across complex engineering and business logic systems.
- Comfortable leading design and mentoring team members in a high-impact, fast-paced environment involving large-scale financial systems.
