Tier-1 semiconductor brand but specialized embedded SSD firmware skills reduce applicant density.
Highly specialized embedded storage firmware expertise required, limiting cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 6-15 years plus specialized SSD firmware, NAND, assembly/C and ARM tool requirements enforce strict filters.
Develop and debug high-performance firmware for SSD and memory controllers, focusing on performance optimization, power reduction, latency, and SoC complexity.
Evaluate, build, test, and analyze firmware failures; isolate issues and collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to improve firmware development, debugging, automation, test generation, and log analysis.
6-15 years experience in embedded firmware development; SSD storage experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in assembly and C programming for firmware design and debug.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Knowledge of NAND flash, SSD flash translation layers, wear leveling, garbage collection; familiarity with mass storage interfaces (SATA, SAS, NVMe) is a strong plus.
Experienced in ARM development tools (e.g., Eclipse) and SoC register configuration/debugging in embedded firmware environments.
Skilled at problem recreation, performance-critical algorithm optimization, and estimating development efforts.
Familiarity with digital hardware design and test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is advantageous.
