About This Role
- End-to-end ownership of product features from customer problem understanding through production deployment and maintenance.
- Daily use of AI coding agents to enhance development speed and quality, with responsibility for evaluating their impact.
- Monitor, debug, and improve the live product, participate in code reviews, refine work scope, and uphold code quality including performance, security, and maintainability.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–3 years professional software development experience.
- Experience building and shipping web applications with full-stack capability (server and/or browser) is mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI coding agents as part of the development workflow is required.
- Specific technology expertise in Ruby on Rails and React is nice to have but not mandatory; no strict mention of degree or location constraints beyond Chennai (in-office with remote flexibility).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with hands-on full-stack experience comfortable owning feature development and operational product responsibilities.
- Strong judgement in code quality, able to write clean, well-designed, and maintainable code and apply design patterns judiciously.
- Product-oriented mindset who understands customer problems deeply and is proactive about improving work scope and outcomes while engaging with emergent AI tools effectively.
