Specialist Software Engineer -Support

Provide prompt support and manage incidents for proprietary software used by Exotic and Volatility trading desks, ensuring effective communication with end users.

Gather and analyze business requirements directly from users and translate them into actionable user stories.

Maintain and enhance production environment stability collaborating with IT teams, proactively monitor application performance, and develop sustainable software solutions focused on maintainability and reusability.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Strong knowledge of UNIX and SQL is required; familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, Autosys, XL Deploy, VBA, Java, and C# is a plus.

Solid understanding of financial markets including sensitivities and regulatory obligations; fluency in English is mandatory.

Experienced working closely with trading desks and IT infrastructure teams in a financial services environment.

Skilled in incident troubleshooting and proactive monitoring in production environments for complex software systems.

Capable of translating user needs into technical requirements with strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
