About This Role
- Develop and debug high-performance firmware for memory controllers and SSDs to improve performance, reduce power and latency, and simplify SoC complexity.
- Evaluate, build, bench test, and perform failure analysis of new firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems.
- Triage failures, file bug reports, and support development teams in isolating issues using AI-supported tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in embedded firmware for storage/SSD is strongly preferred.
- Strong firmware design and debugging skills in assembly and C programming.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is mandatory.
- Knowledge of PCIe/NVMe storage interface protocols and ARM development tools like Eclipse.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-disciplinary product development issues within storage systems including SSD or HDD.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and able to lead or supervise junior engineers.
- Comfortable working under pressure in multi-functional teams and adapting to multiple priorities.
