About This Role
- Develop and calibrate safety systems such as ABS, ESP, Integrated Power Brake®, and iBooster® on prototype vehicles across combustion, hybrid, and EV platforms.
- Conduct vehicle performance validations in varied environments and analyze data to optimize system behavior.
- Serve as a primary technical liaison for customers, engaging in problem-solving and supporting project delivery and acquisition activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering graduate/postgraduate with 3+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
- Experience in hydraulic brake system development and basic understanding of ABS/ESP systems including principles and software.
- Passenger car driving license with at least 3 years driving experience and willingness to travel globally to test locations and proving grounds.
- Familiarity with software tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Carmaker, Doors, ALM, and data acquisition systems (Vbox, Vector tools, external loggers).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on vehicle calibration and validation especially related to braking and active safety systems on varied vehicle types.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting in-vehicle hardware, software, and data acquisition issues throughout development cycles.
- Skilled in customer engagement with strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across cross-functional and international teams.
