About This Role
- Participate in low to moderately complex software development initiatives including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software primarily using Java-based technologies for projects with low to medium risk deliverables.
- Identify and recommend improvements for service quality and availability within the technology domain and escalate issues to meet service level agreements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of software engineering experience (work experience, training, military experience, or education).
- Experience in Java/J2EE development with Spring Framework, Microservices, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot is preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience with Agile methodology, Git, Maven/Gradle, and scripting frameworks like React JS is preferred but not strictly required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Developer with hands-on experience building complex, highly integrated web applications using Java and associated frameworks in Agile teams.
- Comfortable working independently with some judgment while understanding security and compliance within technology domain.
- Experienced in identifying service improvement opportunities and providing technical recommendations within software development projects.
