About This Role
- Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions and end-to-end data pipelines on AWS using Python, Spark, and SQL, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Translate BFSI domain requirements into technical architectures and data models, ensuring compliance with security, data quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead framework/project development, conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and troubleshoot complex issues across AWS services and distributed systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-15 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with solution design/architecture exposure.
- Hands-on expertise in Python, Apache Spark (PySpark preferred), and strong SQL skills for data processing.
- Solid experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, EC2, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Airflow, and Step Functions.
- Mandatory BFSI domain knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven capability in architecting scalable data solutions and end-to-end AWS data pipelines in BFSI context.
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, AI/ML workflows, and scalable AI/LLM system design with some exposure to Databricks.
- Experienced leader with strong analytical, architectural thinking, and problem-solving skills, able to drive technical roadmaps and mentor teams.
