About This Role
- Own and execute manual and automated end-to-end testing for automotive systems focusing on Intrusion Detection System (IDS) including setup and maintenance of test hardware.
- Develop, manage, and track test cases and test runs using tools like Xray (JIRA), ensuring traceability and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with international product teams, developers, CI/CD engineers, and IDS teams to validate automotive cybersecurity features, simulate environments, and improve testing tooling and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in component testing within the automotive domain (ECUs, vehicle platforms, integration).
- Proficient in Python scripting, Robot Framework, and test automation tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle networking protocols (CAN, SOME-IP, TLS) and automotive cybersecurity including ISO/SAE 21434 with familiarity in IDS.
- Experience in test case management tools like Xray in JIRA or Codebeamer and working knowledge of backend validation tools (e.g., Databricks) with SQL query skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automotive cybersecurity domains such as Access Control, Firewall, Network Segmentation, Secure Communication, OTA, and CAN Bus Security.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments (SAFe / Scrum / Kanban) within cross-functional and international teams.
- Skilled in Linux environments, scripting (Python, Shell), and familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker) and network packet construction tools like Scapy.
