About This Role
- Oversee daily operations and manage the Air Freight Import Department for the West Region, including shipment lifecycle management and adherence to SLAs.
- Lead and mentor the operations team while driving operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability through process improvements and resource management.
- Manage key relationships and negotiations with airlines, vendors, customs brokers, and support compliance, governance, and reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 9–12 years of experience in Air Freight / Freight Forwarding Operations with 3–5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Mandatory exposure to Air Freight Operations in the West India region (Mumbai market).
- Strong operational knowledge and hands-on experience in both Air Freight Import and Export Operations.
- Location requirement: Mumbai – Andheri Marol.
