About This Role
- Develop, code, and unit test applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM within predefined timelines and quality standards.
- Handle incident resolution including investigation, diagnosis, classification, prioritization, and recovery actions to maintain service continuity.
- Participate in change requests, problem detection, post-implementation support, and contribute to knowledge documentation and process improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory skills: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM.
- Educational qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA.
- Willingness to work UK shift; location: Chennai (Siruseri); hybrid work mode.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both development and support activities within Agile environments handling UK/India shift timings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate incidents and problems to resolution.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup based out of Chennai, handling business change requests and service restoration communications.
