About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain employer benefits software solutions using modern technologies and test-driven development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Product Managers and customers to address challenges and improve benefits administration.
- Support live applications through proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with C#, Python (if applicable), ASP.NET RESTful API design, and modern RDBMS like MS SQL, Postgres, or MySQL.
- Work Experience Required: At least 3 years in software engineering.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and consuming REST APIs in a microservices or vertical slice architecture.
- Ability to work independently by applying team processes and best practices with guidance from senior team members.
- Comfortable with test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and continuous learning of advanced technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, or event-driven design (Kafka).
