About This Role
- Develop and debug high-performance embedded firmware for memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD).
- Evaluate, create, bench test, and perform failure analysis of firmware to improve performance and reduce system complexity.
- Triage failures, file bug reports, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to isolate and resolve issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in embedded firmware with a focus on storage/SSD firmware strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in assembly and C programming for firmware design and debugging.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PCIe/NVMe storage interface protocols and ARM development tools like Eclipse.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in storage industry technologies, especially SSDs or related systems, with optional knowledge of NAND flash.
- Capable of independently leading and supervising junior engineers in a multi-functional team environment.
- Comfortable working under multiple priorities and contributing to cross-disciplinary product development efforts.
