About This Role

Develop and debug high-performance firmware for memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD).

Conduct evaluation, bench testing, failure analysis, and optimization of storage firmware to improve performance, reduce power and latency, and simplify SoC complexity.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to triage failures, isolate issues, and support multi-functional product development.

Minimum Requirements

6-15 years of experience in Embedded Firmware development; SSD experience is a strong plus.

Proficient in assembly and C programming for firmware design and debugging.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience with ARM development tools, NAND flash concepts, and storage interfaces; knowledge of mass storage protocols such as SATA, SAS, NVMe is optional but preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in firmware development for storage systems with practical skills in debugging and performance optimization.

Able to estimate development effort and proficient in using ARM IDEs and debugging tools.

Familiar with digital hardware design and test equipment; capable of leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to enhance firmware development.
